Venture Mechanics Mentor
Ben Morley
Strategist | Team Trainer | Speaker | Veteran
Ben is a team member of Nokomis Advisory Services, providing sell-side representation for clients in the Lower Middle Market. These businesses are larger than “Main Street” entities and smaller than what investment banking teams attend to.
With EBITDA ranging from $750,000 to $5M, Nokomis is industry agnostic - our goal is to provide our clients with the ideal buyer, more cash at closing than they expected, and to preserve their legacy. Whether exiting in six months or six years, Nokomis can help create large exits for small businesses™ by doing the right preparation, letting their employees thrive, and be fairly compensated for what they’ve built. Ben has over three decades of transformative leadership experience and is relentlessly focused on achieving our client’s goals throughout their desired exit strategy. Built on a service-oriented foundation, he empowers Nokomis’s approach to change lives through business transitions by thinking strategically, planning tactically, and solving creatively.
As a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt instructor, Ben can also provide business owners with guidance through our sister company Martinka Consulting as they prepare exit planning for selling their business. His national and international clients include Canada Post, Perkins Coie, Collins Aerospace, Lincare, First American Title Company, Tasteful Selections, and Danone North America. He has shown clients across the business spectrum how to generate millions of dollars and streamline processes by 75-90%.
Raised in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, Ben graduated from the US Air Force Academy and served 27 years as a pilot, flying missions to all seven continents.
