As a Sustainability Advisor, with a background as an environmental scientist, my experience spans from the natural (earth) to the built (human) environment, and from the 'boiler room to board room,' integrating design, policy, optimization, and innovation. I leverage innovative approaches, cutting-edge technologies, and strategic frameworks to revolutionize organizational operations, to a diverse group of organizations.
I excel at delivering impactful results within highly regulated organizations, employing a collaborative science based approach to solve complex challenges and drive transformative change. My work is dedicated to fostering a sustainable and resilient future.
My influence in the field extends through keynote speaking, TEDx talks, presentations to the US Congress and the United Nations, authoring a best-selling book, and producing a short documentary. In 2021, I was honored as one of the Environment + Energy Leaders 100.

Notable Achievements
* Developed AstraZeneca’s Zero Carbon strategy. Managed implementation of the North American strategy, including renewable natural gas (RNG) due to resilience issues associated with electrification, structuring the first B2B and 2nd largest RNG contract in the US.
* Facilitated Washington, DC’s first Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for solar energy at Dunbar High School, achieving the highest-rated LEED NC School (Platinum).
* Implemented a Zero Waste program at AstraZeneca’s Gaithersburg campus, reducing waste by 59% in 2 years, and increasing the recycling rate from 62% to 87%, leading to the SSF Campus TRUE certification.
* Implemented energy conservation measures (ECMs) for AstraZeneca Gaithersburg Campus, resulting in a 19% energy reduction, leading to $1M in savings annually.
* Developed the sustainability program for the DC Public Schools Modernization Program (DCPEP), resulting in a 28% energy reduction and $3M in savings annually.
* Managed a $5M budget and a team of 30 individuals for the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), restoring 300+ facilities to original condition resulting in a $2.8M savings annually.A
